These organic plastic bags are made using natural starch, vegetable oil derivatives and vegetable waste which are then passed through a secret process to develop the organic plastic bags. As a proof that these plastic bags are indeed organic, several tests were conducted by the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board, Central Institute of Plastic Engineering, TUV-SUD South Asia and Technology and Sriram Institute for Industrial Research. These plastic bags manufactured by Envigreen have gone through boiling water test, burning test, hot iron test, edible test and strength test. And all of the government approved labs have given a green signal to our product.
With a vision to make India a plastic free country, Ashwath plans to set up factories in the across Karnataka and generate employment in the state. In the month of January, these bags will be available in the stores.
